If you could only listen to 5 musicians/bands complete albums forever, what would they be?
Guns N' Roses, Appetite For Destruction & Use Your Illusion
Fleetwood Mac, Rumours, but also every other song ever made by them.
Greta Van Fleet, Anthem of The Peaceful Army
All Bee Gee’s albums. Can’t choose.

How would you define your personal style of photography?
I create whenever I can, and my inspiration differs, but I'm mostly trying to capture a moment/story that I am obsessed with. I am very fond of vintage anything, so my photography is always done with 35mm film or a Polaroid camera.

What motivates you to continue taking pictures (intellectually or emotionally)?
My camera is my get away from reality, and in that moment I am completely present, and only focused on creating a world/character.
Exactly what it is you want to say with your photographs, and how do you actually get your photographs to do that?
I simply want to come up with stories and characters, and play dress up.
The wardrobe and makeup play a huge roll in how I tell my stories. Thanks to my team for making that possible.

How do you want people to feel when looking at your photographies?
I can't control what people might feel when seeing my photography, but I hope they feel something. A tiny part of me, wishes for them to feel drawn into a different world of some sort.

How long have you been taking photos?
I started taking photos April 2018.

How would you define your personal style of photography?
I have always been drawn towards somewhat simpel motives, with a hint of mystery - and I love experimenting with subdued colors and lighting. Nature is a big inspiration of mine, and my preferred location when it comes to most shoots. This is mainly because I like the thought of humans and other creatures being very small compared to the universe - but (ironically enough) I also find that landscapes and hidden outdoor spots can help create a quite surreal expression, which I like. Lastly, it is important to me that my pictures contain some form of atmosphere, and I generally find myself being the happiest with my work when I have taken some time to implement a few hidden metaphors and meanings into why the elements are placed the way that they are.

What motivates you to continue taking pictures (intellectually or emotionally)?
I am not always a very vocal person (unless im surrounded by people who are close to me) so having another form of outlet is quite essential to me. Through photography I get to take all of my observations of ‘the real world’ and sort of create a respons to it, by combining them with my imagination og outlook on life. So, in the end I think that it is the urge I have to portray my vision and use it as a form of communication, that drives me to keep taking pictures.

Exactly what it is you want to say with your photographs, and how do you actually get your photographs to do that?
This changes so much from photoshoot to photoshoot, so it is hard for me to give an exact answer. But it often revolves around human nature, and how the way that we act, and the things we do and feel, can be very strange if you begin to really think about it.

Whose work has influenced you the most?
My favorite photographer, Ria Mort, has to be the number one on that list. The simplicity in her pictures, and the way that she uses subtle colors and surrealism has always been very inspiring to me. I also love Emilio Villalba and his all-at-once realistic and surreal paintings. Lastly, I recently discovered the photographer Abdulla Elmaz, and I immediately fell in love with the way that he uses light - something which I am definitely already very inspired by.

How long have you been taking photos?
Approximately 4 years.

What draws you to the world of makeup?
For me, it has always been about limitless expression. The exciting thing about makeup for me is the way the shadows work, how colors can work together and how different textures can complement each other. I think I just really enjoy creating art on faces.

Can you mention a few of your inspiration sources?
I am a very visual person, so I usually get my inspiration from Instagram, but not necessarily makeup pictures. Inspiration can come from anything, but it is usually something I find very aesthetically pleasing. It can be outfits where the colors suit each other, pictures of plants, nail art or something that just catches my eye.

What is your favorite makeup look and why?
If it involves glitter or something holographic I'm all in.
What is beauty for you?
I think beauty is different for everybody, so I guess the statement Beauty is in the eye of the beholder really is true.

What draws you to the world of makeup?
Makeup is a tool of self expression. I love that I can transform myself on a daily basis into anything and anyone. I love that it is temporary. The person I want to present to the world changes everyday. Some days I want to be a princess, a fairy or a pop star, other days I want to be a clown, an alien, a robot or something completely different.
Can you mention a few of you inspiration sources?
I am inspired by many things. Anything from vintage clown dolls to kpop, 90s music videos, bugs crawling on the ground, science fiction, shoujo manga, the internet. Inspiration comes to me all the time. The challenge lies in the execution.
What is your favorite makeup look and why?
I don’t have a specific look that is my favorite, but I love seeing people use objects that aren’t intended as makeup to decorate their face.
Stickers, gemstones, flowers, tiny doodles, hot glue, small pieces of shiny paper, miniature plastic figures, that kinda stuff.
What is beauty for you?
Beauty for me is confidence. I love seeing people that are confident in themselves and express themselves through their makeup and style. How you present yourself visually is the first impression people will have of you, so to me it’s really important to show others my personality through how I look. People being comfortable with who they are is beauty to me.

What draws you to the world of makeup?
Everything about it. What I love the most is how it can make people feel. Every time I put on makeup I get the feeling that I can conquer the world. The confidence makeup can give a person is crazy and amazing and I love helping other people feel that way with my powers in makeup.

Can you mention a few of your inspiration sources?
I get most of my inspiration though other creators of both makeup and other forms of art, especially through Instagram.

What is your favorite makeup look and why?
I don’t have one favorite look I think. I love doing something different every time I do makeup. But a good glitter look is always a fave in my book.
What is beauty for you?
Beauty for me is art. I use faces as my canvas to show of all the many ways beauty can be presented. Beauty is confidence, when I wear makeup I automatically get a lot more confident. Beauty is an amazing tool for self expression and creating what you as an individual feel like inside. I love that beauty today has no box, it’s for everyone no matter who you are.

What draws you to the world of makeup?
It’s an art-form in where I can see my art come to life. I think it’s amazing how I can change appearances and create a mood just by changing the tiniest thing on a body. I have always loved doing it on myself but it’s even more exciting to create on somebody else.

Can you mention a few of your inspiration sources?
In this digital age I naturally draw a lot of inspiration from social media platforms, but I also look to other forms of art like painting and photography, either to recreate a look or just channel a feeling or mood.

What is your favorite makeup look and why?
As much as I love face paint and doing all these crazy things, my favorite look is probably just all simple and natural makeup. I truly love creating that totally facetuned face, it’s exciting to manipulate shapes and create a almost new face without being able to tell that it’s “fake”
What is beauty for you?
Beauty is feeling good and whatever that means to you.

Emmelie Soendergaard Jensen

What does creativity mean to you?
It means seing everyday a little bit brighter, and a lot more fun.

What do you love most about being a hair stylist?
The diversity of it. It’s always new and exciting, and no day is the same.

What is your favourite hairstyle to do?
Im a big fan of sleek hairdo’s, and 20’s inspired hairstyles.
Katrín Valdís Anarsdóttir

How would you describe your personal style?
My personal style is very childish, colorful and fun.
If you could choose a celebrity closet to shop in, who's would it be and why?
Kim Kardashian's daughter haha! Omg she is so cute. But right now I'm pretty crazy about "wuzg00d", (her Instagram)
What trends are you loving right now?
I love colors, and love experimenting with different patterns and colors. So right now, I absolutely love that it has become so popular to mix colors and patterns. It's so cool!
What's the best style advice you've received?
Clothes should not be taken so seriously. It does not save human life to make clothes, or style, but hopefully you create some joy. Also, remember to be yourself, and include yourself in everything you do.
